Super Bowl Future Odds
In a week when the Patriots pushed a record point spread in their home meetings against the Eagles, it was no surprise that they say high atop the Super Bowl future betting odds list.
Fresh off a 56-10 drubbing of the Bills where the Pats hardly even tried and used fifth-string running backs and linebackers on offense, they sit at -162 on the moneyline of 8/13 odds at Bet365.com.
San Diego, once considered the main threat to the Patriots this year, are now hopping +4000 underdogs or a 40/1 bet to win Super Bowl XLII.
Second choice at Bet365.com, one of England's leading bookmakers with more than 60 land-based betting shops, is Dallas at +500. They seem to be the cream of the NFC crop and sit tied with the Packers are 9-1.
Those Packers are a longer shot at +1000 at Bet365.com and they visit the Detroit Lions in Week 12.
The Indianapolis Colts have been saddled with plenty of injuries, including a crippling blow to DE Dwight Freeney and sit at +700 odds. They have already lost to the Patriots this season and they could hook up again in the AFC title game.
After this elite group, the Super Bowl odds go way up, with Pittsburgh - fresh off an embarrassing loss to the Jets - at +2000 or 20/1 and the Giants at +2500 or 25/1.
