The Arizona Cardinals were a surprise winner of the NFC last season, but the chances of them repeating don't look good according to the NFC future odds at Sportsbook.com.

The Cardinals enter the season as a +1400 underdog at Sportsbook.com, with nine teams ahead of them on the odds list. The Cardinals have a much harder schedule ahead of them this season, and their division isn't filled with pushovers like it was last year. They still have the duo of Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin to catch touchdowns from Kurt Warner, but even that could blow up any minute with the disgruntled Boldin and the injury-prone Warner.

Three teams share the distinction of favorites to win the NFC at Sportsbook.com. The Giants, Vikings and Eagles all head in to the new season listed at +500. The Giants were the conference favorite last season, but their passing game dried up once Plaxico Burress was lost. Burress is long gone, along with Amani Toomer, so Eli Manning needs some new reliable receivers to step up.

The Vikings were catapulted to the top of the odds after finally landing Brett Favre. The offense appears to be ready to roll with Favre, Adrian Peterson, Bernard Berrian and rookie Percy Harvin, as long as Favre can still prove effective.

The Eagles made headlines in training camp by signing Michael Vick. He could end up filling in for Donovan McNabb if McNabb gets hurt again, or line up somewhere else on the field. Either way the Eagles have plenty of talent on both sides of the ball and should be a contender as long as injuries and controversy don't arise.
